We won for Best Manufactured Pasta Product!!
The quality standards among Britain’s top independents is getting better and better, according to the judges of this year’s annual Pizza Pasta & Italian Food Industry Awards.
This year The Fresh Pasta Company won the Manufactured Pasta Product Award
for the Retail Category with its Handmade Spinach, Ricotta and Walnuts Tortelloni.
The awards were presented as part of the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Industry Awards Dinner 2010 which was held at the Lancaster London Hotel on Thursday November 11.
The awards, which were attended by 440 leading figures from across the pizza, pasta and Italian food industry, are now in their 22nd year.
Says PAPA Director Jim Winship: “These awards are well established and aim to recognise the work being done by restaurants, supermarkets and suppliers to keep raising standards. We have certainly seen a significant improvement in standards in recent years which is not only good for the industry but also for consumers.”
The Fresh Pasta Company Handmade Spinach, Ricotta and Walnuts Tortelloni is available through Ocado.com and selected Waitrose stores.
